Mother's Day Gift Guide
I cannot believe that spring is here, and Mother's Day is just around corner. And I'm not sure about y'all, but ever since the start of the pandemic, I've tried to be extra proactive of getting gifts ordered because there have been so many delays! So here is your Mother's Day gift guide ahead of the game to get you started!
There is something absolutely timeless about stained glass, but most of us don't have the luxury to have custom windows like that made for our home. That's why I love the beautiful pieces from Adoni Design, and the custom feel they can bring to your home. These items are sure to be pieces that will hang in your family's home for generations.
For the mom that les to entertain, Hale Mercantile is a great source to find high quality linen. Keep in mind that the price point is definitely for a luxury product, but the linens are absolutely stunning!
How many of you have gotten Mom a bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day, only to see them die days later? How about getting your mom flowers that she can keep forever? Mae Lily Designs has absolutely gorgeous pressed floral artwork that Mom can enjoy for years to come.
During Mother's Day, I think it is so important to remember the mom's that are grieving. What many do not know is that one in three pregnancies end in miscarriage. With so much and love and joy associated with this day, it's important that we show our love and recognize mother's that have lost a child, their mother, grandmother, or who are going through trauma, pain, or grief. I love the story behind Bottle of Tears and the gift of hope these bottles provide to remind those hurting that every tear is precious and seen by the Lord.
What mom doesn't love a good candle? I'm especially a big fan of Old Flame Candle Co for multiple reasons. Eco-friendly, OFCC repurposes beautiful vintage vessels and turns them into one of a kind candles. Additionally, when all the wax has burned, you can either use the vessel as décor in your home, or send to OFCC for a wax refill.
If Mom has been looking to freshen up her living room, starting with throw pillows is a great place to start. The Citizenry partners with local artisans around the globe to produce beautiful, unique, and high quality textiles for your home, as well as paying fair wages to those artisans.
Tabitha with Fox Hollow Studios cannot do wrong in any of the watercolors she produces. With her artwork spanning from florals, animals, vintage inspired, and more, you are sure to find something for mom.
Amber Lewis of Amber Interiors is one of my absolute favorite designers. A mother herself, Amber has perfectly curated a gorgeous coffee table book of her designs that is worth displaying called, "Made for Living". If your mom is an avid collector of books, or just needs some extra spark to her coffee table, this is the gift for her.
